Jeffrey Lewis Gold
As one of two founding partners of Gold & Witham, Attorney Jeffrey
	 Lewis Gold received both his undergraduate and graduate education at University
	 of California, Berkeley, where he studied English literature. He then
	 began his pursuit of a career in law at Hastings College of the Law, San
	 Francisco. Here, he competed in the 1982 Snodgrass Moot Court Competition
	 and was nominated for the Best Appellate Brief and Oral Argument. Attorney
	 Gold was admitted to the California State Bar in December of 1983.
Before he began Gold & Witham, Attorney Gold worked for a variety of
	 law firms throughout Los Angeles. In 1984, he had his first role as an
	 associate in liability defense at Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon. He
	 moved on to a tenure as a Deputy District Attorney for Criminal Prosecution
	 and Deputy Public Defender for Criminal Defense of Los Angeles County.
He then spent time as an associate in civil litigation at the firms of
	 McKeown & Mitchell, Graiwer & Goldberg, and the Law Offices of
	 Stephen Verchick. For the next five years, he worked as a sole practitioner
	 in criminal defense and workers' compensation at his own firm of the
	 Law Offices of Jeffrey Lewis Gold. Following that, he served as an associate
	 in criminal defense for the Law Offices of Lawrence Taylor. In 2000, he
	 and Nigel Roy Witham teamed up to start the firm of Gold & Witham
	 with a mission to provide dedicated criminal defense counsel.
Throughout his career, Attorney Gold has become involved in a number of
	 prestigious associations throughout the state and nation. He is a member
	 of both the Orange County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar
	 Association. Additionally, he is also associated with California Deuce
	 Defenders.
